Disability rights activist Nadina LaSpina will read from her memoir Such a Pretty Girl: A Story of Struggle, Empowerment, and Disability Pride, which describes her journey to find a place for herself in an ableist world. The reading will be followed by a conversation with authors Simi Linton (disability rights activist) and Jessie Male (disability scholar at NYU Gallatin). The audiobook edition of Such a Pretty Girl launches May 12th.  

Followed by conversation with author/disability activist Simi Linton and author/disability scholar Jessie Male (NYU Gallatin)
