SUMMARY:Crip Authorship: Disability as a Method for Creativity
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, 21 June 2025\nV&A South Kensington \n\n\nJoin us for an afternoon of talks\, a screening\, and a workshop exploring disability\, authorship\, and access at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Contributors to Crip Authorship—a 2024 CHOICE Reviews Outstanding Academic Title—will share their work on how disability can shape the way we write\, communicate\, and create. Highlights include a screening with Louise Hickman\, a plain language writing workshop led by Kelsie Acton\, and a keynote lecture by Georgina Kleege. The event will begin with a book signing and introduction by the editors\, Mara Mills and Rebecca Sanchez. \n\nPlease note that space for the workshop component is limited; only request an in-person ticket if you are certain you can attend.
